Yesterday, I went to my first kids consignment sale. I prepared in advance by picking the brains of some of my favorite tweeps. I also read this timely and helpful post from Melissa at I Pick Pretty. I attended with my good friend, S, who is a pro at these sales. She has two boys of her own and was so helpful in helping me pick out items!
The inventory was carefully selected. We saw items from Baby Gap, Ralph Lauren, Mudpie, Le Top, Wally & Willie, Mini Boden, and more. Many items still had tags on them.
I love nautical themed items, so I was thrilled when I found many adorable nautical pieces (ranging from 3 months to 12 months). Here are some of my finds!
The sale also had a fabric section, where I found this adorable nautical print that my mom thinks we can make into a crib skirt.
The consignment sale appeals to me for so many reasons. First, it is a great way to score higher end baby clothes at a better price. Second, I love the hunt!
I had a blast. Anyone else have more fun shopping for their kids than themselves?
So adorable! Lucky baby boy!
ReplyDeleteYou found so many great things! I love the nautical items too. They're super cute!
ReplyDeleteAdorable Natalie! If you love nautical, the hartstrings outlet in st Augustine has some great things. Also bailey boys outlet if you're ever up in st Simons island. Who ever said you can't find cute boys clothing hasn't been looking. Love the crib skirt idea also. E
ReplyDeleteWell, you have seen plenty of Andrew's pictures so you know that now I am more focused on getting him dressed up cute than myself. LOL
ReplyDeleteI shop at a couple of consignment stores around here for him as well since I'm a big fan of Ralph Lauren rompers and Mudpie Jon-Jons- and well, those aren't cheap! I've scored quite a few deals.
