I have been having incredibly bad luck at my beloved Dillard's Clearance Center. However, I was passing by today and decided to give them another shot. I'm so glad I did! Here is what I tried on...




The pink dress, the red flowery dress and the green dress are all Jessica Howard. The blue and white one with the halter esque neckline is by Antonio Melani. The navy blue polka dot dress is by Robbie Bee. With the exception of the Antonio Melani dress, all of the dresses were originally $80 and marked down to $28 each!!! The Antonio Melani dress was regularly $120 (I think) and was marked down to $51.

Which one did I buy? All of them? None of them??







Okay, I'm not good at suspense! I got the red flowery dress with the ruffle neckline, the green dress and the navy polka dot dress! I need to have them all shortened, but otherwise, I am very satisfied! Thanks Dillard's Clearance Center for renewing my faith in you:)

P.S. I did say something to the sales clerk regarding the poor selection as of late. She disclosed that they had not had a delivery in 2.5 months! They JUST got this shipment in a day or so ago. Whooo!!

A month or so ago, I saw what looked to be an identical dress in purple at the Loft Outlet. Seeing as I love this dress, I eagerly grabbed it and headed to the dressing room. Upon further inspection, I noticed two major things:

(1) No lining. This dress is linen and my original dress has a lining.
(2) No piping detail at the hem and neckline. The piping really gives it a finished look.

So I didn't get the dress and really realized how some of the outlet clothes cheapen their items for the sake of the bargain. Now I've gotten some great items from the outlet mall. However, I'm really starting to notice these details. How about you? Have you ever noticed this at your favorite brand's outlet?
