Dreaming in Color

Inspired by Taylor, I am on a quest for a non neutral shoe. I recently surveyed my shoe collection and saw a see of tan, black and brown. Unacceptable! Here are some shoes I'm considering. Any advice?

  1. The blue peep-toes - my co-worker ordered them. They're definitely NOT navy, more a blue-grey. They're gorgeous though and I have a style almost identical to them in brown I bought a few years back and they are SO COMFY. You know I have those green wedges - love them! I also own two pairs of orange wedges and have worn them with way more than I ever thought I would. The pink loafers are aaaaadorable - I was eyeing them in teal the other day! All good choices - don't think you could go wrong. But if you're looking for versatility I'd say go with the wedges - I know I'll be wearing mine to work and on the weekends.

  3. DO IT!! Colorful shoes are such a great way to add a lot of pizazz to an outfit. I always love spring and summer because I feel like my shoes choices get a lot more exciting.

As for color - I bought a pair of light pink sequin flats last year and wore them way more than I ever thought. They totally became a neutral for me. Love those shoes!

  4. get a couple of colors! I wear a lot of colored shoes.. in fact, I prefer colors over plain. LOL

Orange and blue are good choices, as are red and yellow. :)

  5. It depends on your favorite colors to wear with your skin type. I love orange shoes and accessories but not as clothing. However, I have a wardrobe full of pink clothes so I can't exactly rock orange shoes with that. I'd go for green or yellow. They'd look great with your skin.
